James Koeberl Obituary, Death – James Koeberl, a former student at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse (UWL), passed away recently. It is with great sadness that we share the news of his passing. James departed this world, leaving behind fond memories as well as a legacy of generosity and warmth for those who remembered him. Although he was only with us for a short period of time, the influence that he had on those who were close to him will be remembered for all time.
A Time to Remember
The UWL Student Bluffs Ballroom will be the location of a memorial service that will be place on Sunday, March 24th, at three o’clock in the afternoon, in order to celebrate the life of James Koeberl. Friends, family, and members of the UWL community will have the opportunity to come together at this gathering in order to pay tribute to James’s life and legacy, exchange tales, and share memories of James.
A Life Well-Lived
The beginning of James Koeberl’s trip began when he was a student at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. It was there that he began his adventure of growing and discovering new things. James’s contagious enthusiasm, genuine generosity, and steadfast dedication to his studies and extracurricular activities left an indelible mark on the lives of a great number of people throughout his time at the University of West Louisiana.
Remembering James
His vivacious personality and kind-hearted disposition will be fondly remembered by anyone who had the opportunity to know James. Every place he entered was instantly brightened by his presence, and he had a talent for making everyone feel like they were cherished and welcomed. James had a way of bringing people together and establishing a sense of community, whether he was participating in lively conversations in the classroom or sharing laughs with friends at social gatherings. He had a way of doing both.
A Gathering of Remembrance
At the memorial service that will take place on March 24th, we will be commemorating James’s life and the significant influence that he had on people who were in his immediate vicinity. The gathering will provide a chance for friends, family members, and members of the UWL community to get together, talk about the past, and find comfort in the company of one another at this trying time.

It is my hope that as we come together to remember and celebrate his life, we will find solace in the knowledge that he had an impact on the lives of a great number of people and that he left behind a legacy of love and kindness that will endure for many years to come.
