Charles Stahl Obituary, Death – Charles Eugene Stahl, a respected pastor, martial artist, and friend to all, passed away on March 20, 2024, and the city of San Angelo, Texas, is in mourning over the loss of a real pillar of the community. Charles Stahl was born on January 17, 1957, to parents named Charles and Dorothy Stahl. Throughout his life, Charles Stahl has been steadfastly committed to his faith and to the community in which he lives. At a young age, Charles had the sense that he was being called to serve God and to motivate other people. As a result of this calling, he decided to devote his entire life to the ministry, a journey that the Baptist Tabernacle was the starting point for in the 1980s. In the year 1990, he established the Berean Baptist Church in Grape Creek, and it was there that he did everything in his power to disseminate the message of the love that Jesus had for his followers.
A Warrior for Christ
Charles was a martial artist who had a strong desire to share his faith through Spirit Fit Christian Martial Arts. In addition to his work as a pastor, Charles did this through his martial arts training. Not only did he instruct his students in the fundamentals of martial arts through this karate school, but he also instilled in them the virtues of discipline, dedication, and tenacity, all of which were rooted in a profound commitment to Christ. His influence was felt far beyond the confines of the dojo, impacting the lives of thousands of people over the course of his more than four decades of involvement in the martial arts world. Charles led a life that was full of excitement and discovery, touring the world and coming into contact with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds. He always kept San Angelo dear to his heart, loving the warmth, culture, and gastronomic delights of his city, despite the fact that he had traveled the world and experienced amazing things.
A Memorial to Remember
On Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at eleven in the morning, a memorial ceremony will be held at Paulann Church in order to pay tribute to Charles’s extraordinary life and legacy. There will be a time set aside for friends, family, and members of the community to gather together, talk about the differences Charles made in their lives, and celebrate the influence he had on their lives. His sisters, Francis Lohman and Marilyn Shields, as well as his parents, Charles and Dorothy Stahl, passed away before Charles. Charles is the only child of his entire family. He is survived by his sister Deborah Stahl and a devoted family, which includes his children Candace Martinez, Constance Escalante, Charles Caleb Stahl, Elijah Stahl, and David Isaac. He is also survived by his sister Deborah Stahl. Additionally, he leaves behind cherished grandchildren who will continue on his legacy after he is gone.
